About the role:
The role of the Customs Administrator is to maintain accurate records of all transactions related to importation and export of goods, including all customs documentation, payment records and communications with customs officials.
Some of the things you will get involved in include:
·UK Customs Clearance - negotiate with freight forwarders to manage shipping and customs clearance for import and exports
·Prepare customs documentation to ensure that shipments meet all applicable laws
·Record all import and export customs detail customs ensuring and submit to HMRC
·Duty deferment & UK VAT certificates – accurately control duty payments and reconciliation
·Manage freight forwarders shipping Invoices
·EU Customs Clearance in and out of Belgium
·Liaise with EU retailers regarding instructions and invoices to our customs clearance agent in Belgium
