Project Manager

Due to internal progression we are looking for a hands-on and innovative Project Manager to join our Team.

At Linn a Project Manager is responsible for companywide, cross functional projects from concept evaluation through development to full market acceptance. Most projects are NPD with a focus on new innovative technology and manufacturing processes. All products are designed and manufactured in house so experience of working in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.

Key to the Project Manager role is the ability manage teams and stakeholders, establish detailed project plans, drive progress and clear communication across the functional areas and be the focal point of contact for any project related issues. Therefore, the successful candidate must have strong project leadership skills and the ability to encourage, support and motivate team members to achieve overall project success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead multiple projects and teams from concept to market acceptance
  • Ensure project success by managing and executing projects in accordance with company processes and act on improvements whenever needed
  • Communicate proactively with all team members and managers to ensure clear communication of project goals, activities and priorities.
  • Identify problems, create solutions, provide encouragement and implement changes and improvements. Motivate and assist team members to keep project on track
  • Create, maintain and report progress of project plans, budgets and resource requirements
  • Develop and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, providing project updates, documentation and regular reviews to senior leaders
  • Organise and host meetings with project teams on a regular and as required basis
  • Manage project closure and ensure a smooth handover to BAU teams

Skills & Experience:

  • Ability to demonstrable knowledge and experience of Project Management methods and techniques, with a knowledge of full project lifecycle
  • Track record of delivering results while working with different technical and functional experts
  • Ability to resolve issues, make decisions and provide advice and mentoring to project team members
  • Ability to handle shifting and conflicting priorities
  • Experience working in an SME or manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience using project planning software e.g. MS Project
